CLIMATE CHANGE

 AQUA means water...

Aquatic environment means the area of the planet covered with water. About 1.7% of these waters are in ice and snow.

The aquatic environment can be divided into 2 based on taste:

1. Freshwater 

2. Saltwater 

The majority of fresh water on earth about 68.7% is held in ice caps and glaciers.

Water I can say is a major source of life as one can only last 7 to 10 days without it.


The reasons earth is still a planet and habitable for living is water and various organism living in it. 

For example:- Humans are at a very critical stage now due to the coronavirus because it affects our essence of living i.e the respiratory system.

If it were to be the phytoplanktons living in the water bodies providing 50%-85% of the world's oxygen that was affected, I can boldly say three-quarter of the world is good as dead.

A known fact is also that humans have only explored not more than 1% of the aquatic environment.


Now with all these prepositions that show that water is, if not the most important compound of all.

Humans still have some of her activities like oil spillage, poor Dam facilities, Bunkering, Water theft, Indiscriminate killing of water organisms, etc. to the detriment of her life if not her extinction.


Ways by which individuals and corporate bodies can curb these inhumane activities.


As an individual...

1. Organizations should teach individuals the importance of water to life, although glaring, individuals still need to be educated as such preventing excessiveness.

2. Every person should stop the dumping of various garbages into the water bodies e.g unused household appliances, plastics, feces, etc. as all these causes toxicity to water life.

3. Each household should use a common source of water i.e borehole, well, etc. to prevent land for other uses.


As a Corporation

1. Proper evaluation and monitoring should be carried out on activities to be carried out on water bodies.

2. Local and international water bodies should cooperate and jointly fight and secure water highways against Bunker and Pirates

3. Vast Orgasmic life in water bodies should be secured and laws should be enacted to protect these files.


Consequences of damaging aquatic life and environment

1. Humans will become extinct in the long run when aquatic life is damaged

2. Food from aquatic life will be lost

3. Fresh water will not be accessible again and those kept in ice caps and glaciers will be contaminated.

4. Plants and wildlife will be destroyed.

5. The Ecosystem will be destroyed.
