YOUR NAME YOUR IDENTITY

 HOW DO I START?....

My Dad's name is David Akiniyi Oguntokun. He was a Muslim who converted to Christianity and he joined the choir. He said they were to do a choir anniversary at our church, CAC Oke Ayo Agugu Ibadan, and the whole choristers were asked to bring a song for the anniversary. When it was time for him to teach the choir, the intonation of his former religion was glaring, and the whole choristers made jest of him.

Thank God for the Choir Master (C.M) (if you have a father, you can go further), he called him and they reconstructed the song.

THAT WAS THEIR BEST SONG ON THE ANNIVERSARY THAT YEAR. You remember 'David' in the Bible.

My Mum's name is Serah Adefunke.....

In her case, Serah in the Bible suffered because her womb was shut and was a mockery to her maid 'Hagai'. Her form of reproach is that she has been suffering all her years up till this moment, but the latter glory will be revealed (Laughter). YOUR NAME YOUR IDENTITY

Oluwabusayo, Oluwabisola, Racheal, .....

I once had a dream about my cousin and in the dream, I saw she was pregnant, wanted to do an abortion, and in the process died. I chatted her up the second and asked her if she ever had anything bothering her, and if she should let me know. I also had a dream concerning my sister. In that dream, I saw she was already doing an abortion with my mum present helping the doctor, but nothing happened. Now when the title "Your Name, Your Identity" came known to me, I remembered RACHEAL in the Bible and how she died. I was shocked, although I already warned her not to have an abortion no matter the scenario...

Damilare, Samuel...

Samuel dedicated his whole life to God, but what about his children? Samuel was a very resourceful personality.

My names are; MICHEAL, OLUWASEUN, IYANU, AYOFE, OLASUNKANMI......

From the story, I heard, that on my christened day I was given more than 15 names.

MICHEAL

The only reason why my parents decided to give me the name was that I was born through cesarean section, and they thought I fought to the world, that it's a befitting name.

In the year 2001, my Dad brought us to Lagos, precisely April, and it was on a Sunday. When we got to our lodge, my mom was still in Church while my Dad went to call her. I was becoming impatient and had to tell my younger ones, to let me go and check on them without knowing anywhere. We were still very small in stature, so I was struggling to open the gate out of the building. My Dad opened the gate, the next thing he did was gave me a thunderous slap, and immediately a voice came to me 'You will suffer in Lagos'.

Your Name Your Identity(Micheal---fight a war in Lagos).

IYANU/OLUWASEUN/AYOFE

I will be forever grateful to God on this matter because coming to Lagos from Ibadan then was like going to Osun state from Katsina (😉).

God used Auntie Esther for us then, because if not for her, we would have chosen wrongly. The best schools around this time were two, affordable to my parent. So God used this sister for us to seek admission into First Foundation Nursery and Primary School.

On the day we were to go for an admission interview, I was in primary three from Ibadan. The Macmillan we're reading was 'Edit Lives in Calabar'. Sincerely, I couldn't read it, but somehow I was retained in my class while my junior ones were asked to repeat classes.

The session we are then was 2000/2001. I had been admitted, and they change our class teacher in primary four first term. Normally, my position then was between the 8th and 14th, so there was no chance of me getting a double promotion at the end of the first term to primary 5 barely a year from Ibadan.

While still in session; one day, the teacher asked a question on Fraction in class and I answered it. He said his name is Saint, and I also said my name too means Saint in my dialect (AYANFE), meanwhile, is AYOFE(Beloved).

It was later while growing up and fairly knowledgeable, discussing it with my parents, they said my name is not AYANFE (SAINT) but AYOFE.

Your Name, Your Identity.

AYOFE/AYANFE got me a promotion barely a year from Ibadan.

Lastly, OLASUNKANMI.

As a small kid, the events that happened in 1998 when the H.O.S died. Our family house was upstairs. I was with my aunt, Sister Iyabo, now Overseas with her husband. I was not up to 6 years old and she screamed when she heard the news.2nd of September 2018 in Katsina when our Pastor mentioned it, I remembered the events that year(Most of my childhood memories are still intact)

Where I'm going is, from the time I came to Lagos, in primary 5 up till now, girls I connect with naturally must have the word; OLA attached to their names either prefix or suffix.

It never came to my attention tho until I was in FCE(T) Akoka.

No matter how sexy, beautiful, radiant, burst, lepa, or gorgeous you are, I won't have a crush on you, though I might notice, for girls I like.

All these OLAs usually come from two Yoruba states either Ondo or Ekiti.

For the Eastern part of the country, two names usually catch my fancy. They are CHIOMA and CHIDI(N, M)MA.

75% CHIOMA, 25% CHIDIMMA.

They also come from two states 90% IMO, 10% ANAMBRA.

IN CONCLUSION,

I didn't write on my parents' secular names, but their biblical names.

I only wrote on my names that I'm familiar with, remember I said I have more than 15 names.

Your parents have made a good or bad choice concerning your destiny with your name. Jabez's mother did too. The Bible says Psalm 11:3... You will have to pray ooo. Jabez prayed, and Obed of Edom's prayer caused Uzzah to touch the ARK.

ISCARIOT had a choice but he didn't pray.

SAMSON also had a choice but he never for once prayed

"MICHEAL IS STILL PRAYING"

Types of Pastors in Nigeria, their Ministry according to their names.

1. Enoch-- He walked with God-- Pastor E.An Adeboye.

2. Oyedepo--Top position -- Pastor Oyedepo

3. Joshua-- Pastor T.B Joshua(now RIP)

Was he not the one that changes the laws of nature(sun and moon stand still)?

I read some time ago that 60% of migrants coming into Nigeria weekly go to his Church.

Now, one African country in their Parliamentary was proposing to turn God into a business venture-Simon the Sorcerer.

INTERNATIONALLY

I read about a man that doesn't patent his discovery on a vaccine that made him lose billions of dollars but saved millions of Children; Check his name.

Also, another soldier, prevented the 3rd World War, by refusing to carry out a single order; Check his identity.
